PRESS RELEASE

Fibertronix Launched Range of Polyimide Coated Fibers

Fibertronix a leading manufacturer of innovative Specialty Fibers unveiled latest in its range of Optical Fibers- Polyimide Coated Fiber. The company has introduced a range of Polyimide coated fibers for applications in Oil and Gas, Aerospace, Sensors, Defence, Medical and Security. The fibers offer wide operating temperature range from -65 to 300°C. The Polyimide coated fiber with high temperature rating is also available upon request.

Due to its proprietary polymers, it is best suited for the applications where high strength and low bending loss is required such as strain, health, temperature and pressure monitoring in structural, geophysical and medical sensing. The polyimide coating makes the fiber extremely robust and durable under harsh environments at elevated temperatures.

The product family consist of Single Mode, Multimode, High NA, SM and MM Pure core, 80um, High NA 80um, radiation hard and hermetic fiber. The fiber offers tight and high performance optical and mechanical specifications with tight dimension tolerances. It provides high uniformity and lot-to-lot consistency. Fibertronix is offering these products at a competitive pricing to the market. These fibers are also available in Stainless Steel tubes or with other buffer materials. The new fibers join the company other fiber products like, High bandwidth Pure Core, High temperature Acrylate, DTS optimised MM, large core and High NA fibers.
