LAND INSTRUMENTS INTRODUCES LSP-HD

High-Speed, High-Definition Infrared Linescanner

Sets Standard for Industrial Process Imaging

DRONFIELD, ENGLAND, April 2010—Land Instruments has updated its range of infrared linescanners with the introduction of the new high-speed, high-definition LSP-HD. By combining high-speed scanning and high-resolution optics, the LSP-HD sets a new standard for industrial infrared linescanners and establishes a new benchmark for industrial process imaging.

With a scanning performance of 1000 data points up to and including 150 Hz, the LSP-HD represents the latest generation in infrared linescanners. Featuring a rugged, compact housing and a robust sapphire viewing window, the LSP-HD is identical in form with previous generation LSP linescanners and is compatible with all existing mounting hardware.

The LSP-HD is designed to operate in harsh industrial environments and across a wide temperature range. Its market-leading performance, rugged design, ease of installation and use, and competitive pricing make it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, including steel making, glass manufacturing, metals processing and bulk materials handling.

With nearly 20 years of experience in infrared linescanning, Land's technical staff can advise users of the most appropriate choice of scanning head, mounting hardware and software for all types of applications. A choice of industrial power supplies, mountings and accessories are available to interface with local process control systems as well as with the Landscan Windows® Control and Analysis (WCA) software that provides additional capacity for display, analysis and storage of recorded temperature data.
