Paris, France--Fiber-optic components and modules manufacturer and process surveillance company 3S PHOTONICS Group nominates Jean-Michel Bonard as its new managing director for France, and has created three new transversal positions within the group's board. Following the acquisition of the Canadian company Avensys in February 2010, this announcement illustrates the group's desire to capitalize on existing synergies between its various entities and to launch a policy for diversification, geographical expansion and strategic partnerships which will reinforce its international position. The group's ambition is to reach a consolidated IFRS turnover of between 50 and 55 million euros before this summer.

To strengthen the collaboration between all entities and benefit from each of their expertise, this new organization also involves three new transversal and strategic positions within the group’s board:

3S PHOTONICS Group designs, develops, and markets optical components and modules based on optical fiber, and is also, through its subsidiary Avensys Solutions, a leader in environmental and industrial processes surveillance.
Jean-Michel Bonard joined 3S PHOTONICS in July 2009 as deputy general manager in charge of company operations. At the same time, he took on the responsibility of the finance department. Before joining the group, he began his career as an export manager for Katun Corp, an international professional space equipment provider. In 2001, he joins GE Capital Finance as regional manager for the South for 7 years. End of 2007, he creates JMB Conseils, a financial consulting firm for major telecom and IT companies. Jean-Michel Bonard graduated from ESIAE/EMI in Paris and holds an MBA from the Schiller International University in Florida.
