Laser modules from Laser Components for microscope applications
Hudson, NH[email protected]More Products ----- PRESS RELEASE Markings in Focus Even at High Levels of Magnification! FLEXPOINT® Lasers for Microscopic Applications Laser markings often appear out of focus and way too large when working with magnification optics. We can help! New types of laser modules were developed specifically for applications in which a microscope is used as the optical source of magnification. These laser modules display a “clean” spot even at multiple levels of magnification. Inside the module high quality optical elements are used and adjusted manually to obtain the optimal alignment position, allowing, for example, a beam diameter of 0.020 mm to be achieved at a distance of 100 mm (1/e2). Despite the complexity of the optics, the external dimensions could be kept small at 95 mm in length and 12 mm in diameter. Both the wavelength and the output power can be adjusted to meet your needs. The modules are available at operating voltages of 4.5-6 VDC or 8-30 VDC. Due to a low power consumption of less than 50 mW at an output power of 0.5 mW the FLEXPOINT® can generally be connected to existing electric circuits. Other properties include features typical of the FLEXPOINT®: Potential-free housing and reverse voltage protection.
