Farmington, CT--Trumpf has opened an Asian production location for disk lasers at Trumpf Japan in Yokohama. Dr. Peter Leibinger, vice chairman of the managing board, officially inaugurated the company's new TruDisk production facility on June 1—the third production site for disk lasers after Schramberg, Germany, and Farmington, CT.

As disk lasers are in high demand, the new facility will help to ease delivery constraints and enable better response to the requirements of Japanese customers.
