Zeon to showcase polymer grade optical resin at SPIE Photonics West 2014

Jan. 23, 2014
ZEONEX K26R is designed to address the molding and birefringence challenges from existing optical polymers used in mobile device camera optics or other micro-lens applications.

ZEONEX K26R is new polymer grade of optical resin that is designed specifically to address the molding and birefringence challenges faced with existing optical polymers used in mobile device camera optics or other micro-lens applications. ZEONEX K26R is capable of molding thinner lens with a greater degree of curvature due to its high flow and high thermal stability characteristics during the molding process. ZEONEX K26R further improves upon ZEONEX's low inherent birefringence and low photoelastic constant qualities for overall enhancement of micro-lens performance.
