One week after Super Bowl XLIX, SPIE Photonics West—North America's major optics and photonics conference and exhibition—will kick off (pun intended, of course), and it is expected to draw at least 20,000 attendees this year. As always, attendees, exhibitors, and presenters will converge upon the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA, from February 7-12, where they will discuss and learn about the latest products—as well as get market insights, attend technical presentations and make new contacts.

SPIE Photonics West includes two exhibitions: Photonics West itself, as well as the Biomedical Optics Symposium (BiOS) Expo. The BiOS Expo, which will feature 230 companies, will run February 7-8, and the Photonics West Exhibition will run February 10-12 and have 1250 exhibitors. Attendees walking the exhibit floors may not be able to see each and every technology being shown at the exhibitors' booths, but the following list—broken up by category—represents a good cross-section of the products that will be showcased. (Exhibitor booth numbers and their contact information are included with each company and product listed below by visiting the individual links.)
