OSI Laser Diode to introduce 1490 nm pulsed laser diode module at LASER World of Photonics 2015

June 18, 2015
The SCW 1430 laser diode module is an aluminum ridge waveguide (RWG) Fabry-Perot laser that has utility in optical test applications.

The SCW 1430 laser diode module is an aluminum ridge waveguide (RWG) Fabry-Perot laser that has utility in optical test applications such as optical time-domain reflectometers (OTDRs) and optical spectrum analyzers (OSAs). 14-pin dual-inline (DIL), 14-pin butterfly, 3-pin coaxial, and 3-pin TO56 housing versions are available. The modules operate at a center wavelength of 1490 nm (1470 nm min. to 1510 nm max.), and deliver no less than 100 mW optical power (fiber) and a minimum of 300 mW (TO56).
