Photodiodes from OSI Optoelectronics are back-illuminated

Dec. 7, 2015
The BI-SMT series of single-channel, back-illuminated silicon photodiodes are designed to minimize any “dead” areas on the edges of the devices.

The BI-SMT series of single-channel, back-illuminated silicon photodiodes are designed to minimize any “dead” areas on the edges of the devices. Each is on a square surface mount package with dimensions similar to the actual chip. Active areas are 5.76 mm2 for the 33BI-SMT, 19.36 mm2 for the 55BI-SMT, and 88.36 mm2 for the 1010BI-SMT.
