Terahertz imaging system from Microtech provides 8 ps pulses

Dec. 8, 2015
The T-Vision terahertz imaging system is based on the company’s TPO-1500 source, which provides average power up to 1 mW in a spectral band less than 200 GHz wide, centered at 1.5 THz.

The T-Vision terahertz imaging system is based on the company’s TPO-1500 source, which provides average power up to 1 mW in a spectral band less than 200 GHz wide, centered at 1.5 THz. It provides 8 ps pulses. A pulse at 1064 nm spectrally shifts the terahertz image to ~1070 nm for detection by a CMOS camera.
