Point Grey to display scientific imaging cameras at SPIE Photonics West 2016
Grasshopper 3 imaging cameras for scientific applications feature second-generation Sony Pregius IMX250 or IMX252 global shutter CMOS sensors. The CMOS sensor technology reduces pixel size and lowers temporal dark noise in applications such as flat panel inspection, 3D measurement, ophthalmology, flow cytometry, and fluorescence imaging.
