Crystal IS to showcase UVC LED at SPIE Photonics West 2017

Jan. 16, 2017
The Klaran ultraviolet-C (UVC) LEDs have uses in disinfection applications, overcoming obstacles traditionally associated with UV light sources.

The Klaran ultraviolet-C (UVC) LEDs have uses in disinfection applications, overcoming obstacles traditionally associated with UV light sources. They include an instant on/off feature (inherent to solid-state devices) to further increase their useful life. With optimized emission in the UVC spectrum, the LEDs can inactivate pathogens that lead to infection, diseases, and other health risks without the use of chemicals.
