The DSC705 InGaAs photodiode is in a "push-pull" configuration, with each photodiode able to handle high optical power up to 50 mW (or 100 mW as a pair). The shot noise-limited photodiodes are suited for quantum key distribution (QKD) detection schemes or coherent light detection and ranging (lidar). They have a wavelength response of 1060–1650 nm.
