Menlo Systems optical reference system achieves sub-hertz linewidths
The ORS-DL optical reference system uses interference filter cateye design external-cavity diode lasers from MOGLabs. These diode lasers are available at many wavelengths from 400 to 1650 nm. By stabilizing the lasers to high-finesse ULE cavities, the systems achieve sub-hertz linewidths and Allan deviations below 2 × 10-15 at 1 s averaging time.
