Wavelength meter from Bristol Instruments automatically calculates OSNR to >40 dB

March 30, 2017
The 438 series multi-wavelength meter measures the wavelength, power, and optical signal-to-noise ratio (OSNR) of up to 1000 discrete optical signals.

The 438 series multi-wavelength meter measures the wavelength, power, and optical signal-to-noise ratio (OSNR) of up to 1000 discrete optical signals. It measures wavelength to an accuracy up to ±0.3 pm and power to ±0.5 dB, and automatically calculates OSNR to >40 dB at a rate of 10 Hz over a range of 1000 to 1680 nm.
