Energetiq expands facility to accommodate growth in high-brightness light source business

Energetiq announced a facility expansion to address rapid growth in its laser-driven light source business.

High-brightness, laser-driven light source manufacturer Energetiq Technology (Woburn, MA), has announced a facility expansion with updated work spaces and an increased workforce to address what it is saying is rapid growth in its light source business.

The renovations at the company's headquarters in Woburn, MA add 3,000 square feet of new workspace and renovation of the existing areas. The expansion includes a state-of-the-art engineering facility and a second clean manufacturing area for Energetiq's Laser-Driven Light Sources (trademarked) and extreme ultraviolet (EUV) sources.

Energetiq says the facility expansion comes on the heels of an uptick in hiring. New employees have been hired in sales, service, engineering, quality, operations, and manufacturing roles to accommodate the increased demand for Energetiq's light sources.

"We're growing in numbers, square footage, and in the quality of our workplace," said Debbie Gustafson, CEO of Energetiq Technology. "It is an exciting time to be at Energetiq and our newly expanded facility gives us the space we need to continue innovating and providing a high quality product to our customers."

Energetiq Technology develops and manufactures ultrabright broadband light sources for a wide variety of advanced applications in materials and life sciences, semiconductor manufacturing, and R&D. Energetiq's light sources are based on a laser-driven light source technology that generates high brightness across the spectrum, with high reliability and long operating life in a compact package.
