Semrock names Robert Beeson as general manager

Rochester, NY--Optical filters manufacturer Semrock, a unit of IDEX Corporation, has named Robert Beeson as its new general manager, succeeding Michael Cumbo.

Rochester, NY--Optical filters manufacturer Semrock, a unit of IDEX Corporation, has named Robert Beeson as its new general manager, succeeding Michael Cumbo.

Beeson was part of the Semrock team during its formative years in optical telecommunications after gaining experience in the field at JDS Uniphase and Southwest Research Institute. Before his return to Semrock as vice president of engineering, he was a principal physics engineer for Raytheon and DRS Technologies. He rejoined Semrock in October 2006, and helped the company firmly establish itself in the life science filter market in his previous role as vice president of engineeering.
