Scanlab to demonstrate remote welding on-the-fly with online seam tracking at LASYS 2014

Scanlab, together with its subsidiary Blackbird Robotersysteme GmbH, will demonstrate its solution for robot-assisted 3D scanner welding.

Scanlab, together with its subsidiary Blackbird Robotersysteme GmbH, will demonstrate its solution for robot-assisted 3D scanner welding. The system combines flexible industrial robots with high-dynamic scanners to enable complex, on-the-fly welding operations with online seam tracking.

Scanlab's booth will also feature its SCANalign vision solution for precise calibration and ultra-accurate positioning, even when workpiece orientations vary; its laserDESK software solution; and intelliSCANse scan head with digital encoder technology.
