DILAS to display 1.2 kW diode laser system at SPIE Photonics West 2015

Jan. 26, 2015
The COMPACT-EVOLUTION diode laser system delivers 1.2 kW of output power from a 300 µm (0.22 NA) fiber at 976 nm.

The COMPACT-EVOLUTION diode laser system delivers 1.2 kW of output power from a 300 µm (0.22 NA) fiber at 976 nm. The 19 in. rack-mountable system is equipped with a standard diode laser control unit (DLC) used for external interfaces such as the common analog/digital interface, BUS interfaces, and the remote access option. Uses include fiber laser pumping and materials processing applications in thin metal welding, heat treatment, selective soldering, brazing, and scientific.
