OFS to show fiber laser cavities at SPIE Photonics West 2015

Jan. 13, 2015
TrueMode-SP and TrueMode-kW fiber laser cavities enable delivery of true single-mode output at kilowatt power levels.

TrueMode-SP and TrueMode-kW fiber laser cavities enable delivery of true single-mode output at kilowatt power levels. The TrueMode-SP has use in 500 W applications; providing 8 pump ports, it works with diodes delivering greater than 100 W of pump power. The TrueMode-kW cavity for kilowatt applications, when used with the company's TrueM2 beam combiners, also has utility in multi-kilowatt applications. With up to 36 pump ports, the cavity can be used with diodes delivering greater than 50 W of pump power.
