Codixx to demonstrate polarizers for sensor and measurement applications at LASER World of Photonics 2015

June 11, 2015
The colorPol polarizer is a thin glass plate with embedded silver nanoparticles for use in sensor and measurement applications.

The colorPol polarizer is a thin glass plate with embedded silver nanoparticles for use in sensor and measurement applications, and can be processed like glass or semiconductor wafers. They range from 340 nm to 5 μm, and feature a high acceptance angle of > ±20°, high transmittance up to 98%, an extinction ratio of 107:1, and low wavefront distortion of less than λ/4. Standard or custom AR coatings, as well as custom shapes and dimensions, are available.
