Spectra-Physics to showcase industrial femtosecond laser at LASER World of Photonics 2015

June 15, 2015
The Spirit ClearShape (Spirit CS) industrial femtosecond laser is optimized for micromachining of transparent brittle materials.
The Spirit ClearShape (Spirit CS) industrial femtosecond laser is optimized for micromachining of transparent brittle materials, including cutting curvilinear and closed shapes in chemically strengthened glass, unstrengthened glass, and sapphire. At cutting speeds up to several meters per second, the resulting cut has <0.1 µm edge roughness and as-cut bending strength up to 700 MPa for chemically strengthened glass. It delivers >40 µJ pulse energy at 100 or 200 kHz, with average output power of <4 W.LASER World of Photonics booth number: A2.307To Learn More:Contact:Spectra-PhysicsHeadquarters: Santa Clara, CAProduct: Spirit CS industrial femtosecond laserKey Features: >40 µJ pulse energy at 100 or 200 kHzWhat Spectra-Physics says: View more information on the Spirit CS industrial femtosecond laser.View More Products Locate a vendor or system integrator in our Buyer's Guide.Share new products that you think are particularly interesting or helpful by contacting Lee Dubay, Associate Editor, Laser Focus World.
