Ophir to showcase beam monitoring system at SPIE Photonics West 2016

Jan. 15, 2016
The BeamWatch industrial beam monitoring system quickly and accurately measures focus spot shift, waist width, and M2 for high-power YAG, fiber, and diode lasers without contacting the laser beam.

The BeamWatch industrial beam monitoring system quickly and accurately measures focus spot shift, waist width, and M2 for high-power YAG, fiber, and diode lasers without contacting the laser beam. Designed for material processing applications to 100 kW and higher, the system measures focus spots down to 55 µm. Two-axis viewing allows determination of roundness.
