Power Technology to display high-power laser at SPIE Photonics West 2016

Jan. 25, 2016
The Grande high-power laser provides up to 20 W of optical power for applications that require high output powers.

The Grande high-power laser provides up to 20 W of optical power for applications that require high output powers. Controlled by an internal micro-processor, the design features an LCD display to provide safety status as well as real-time information on power current settings and internal temperature. Drive current and bias settings are user-controllable with 12 bits of resolution (4096 steps). Additional features include passive cooling for the circuitry and laser, with typical 5 VDC input to the module.
