Spectra-Mat to show optical submounts at SPIE Photonics West 2016

Jan. 25, 2016
A line of WCu submounts exceed material performances in terms of thermal conductivity and stable CTE towards GaAs and GaN substrates for high-power semiconductor lasers.

A line of WCu submounts exceed material performances in terms of thermal conductivity and stable CTE towards GaAs and GaN substrates for high-power semiconductor lasers. Recent improvements in the company's plating line confirmed flatness up to 0.3 μm/mm together with an edge sharpness of up to 15 µm.
