Spectra-Physics to introduce high-peak-power ultrafast laser at SPIE Photonics West 2016
Jan. 27, 2016
The femtoTrain 1040-5 femtosecond laser delivers <220 fs pulse widths, >0.5 µJ pulse energies, and >2 MW peak powers for use in medical and bioimaging applications, including optogenetics for photoactivation. It outputs >5 W at a 10 MHz repetition rate in the infrared (IR) at 1040 nm. Additional features include long-life diodes and an ultra-stable sealed optical cavity design.SPIE Photonics West booth number: 1400To Learn More:Contact: Spectra-PhysicsHeadquarters: Santa Clara, CAProduct: femtoTrain 1040-5 ultrafast laserKey Features: <220 fs pulse widths, >0.5 mJ pulse energies, and >2 MW peak powersWhat Spectra-Physics says: View more information on the femtoTrain 1040-5 ultrafast laser.View More Products Locate a vendor or system integrator in our Buyer's Guide.Share new products that you think are particularly interesting or helpful by contacting Lee Dubay, Associate Editor, Laser Focus World.
