ASI to display single-plane illumination microscope at SPIE BiOS 2017
Jan. 17, 2017
The oblique single-plane illumination microscope (oSPIM) has utility in light-sheet imaging of samples in standard coverslip-bottom culture dishes. The light sheet is generated using the inverted microscope and imaged from above using a tilted water dipping objective with numerical aperture (NA) as high as 1.1 (<300 nm transverse resolution). The inverted microscope is available for conventional imaging modalities (e.g., confocal, wide field, or TIRF) on the same sample and system, while the tilted top microscope is dedicated to selective-plane illumination microscopy (SPIM) or light-sheet imaging.SPIE BiOS booth number: 8521To Learn More:Contact:Applied Scientific Instrumentation (ASI)Headquarters: Eugene, ORProduct: Oblique single-plane illumination microscope (oSPIM)Key Features: Tilted water dipping objective with NA as high as 1.1What ASI says: View more information on the oblique single-plane illumination microscope (oSPIM).View More Products Locate a vendor or system integrator in our Buyer's Guide.Share new products that you think are particularly interesting or helpful by contacting Lee Dubay, Associate Editor, Laser Focus World.
