The Apollo light detection and ranging (lidar) lens series is inspired by lidar's historical use aboard the 1971 Apollo 15 mission for terrestrial mapping.

The Apollo light detection and ranging (lidar) lens series is inspired by lidar's historical use aboard the 1971 Apollo 15 mission for terrestrial mapping. The series was created with the intention of supporting the next generation of technological breakthroughs in lidar.
