Tattile to introduce 12 Mpixel smart camera at SPIE Photonics West 2017

Jan. 20, 2017
The Smart 12MP camera features an image processing architecture that incorporates Xilix's Zynq-7030 system-on-chip (SoC).

The Smart 12MP camera features an image processing architecture that incorporates Xilix's Zynq-7030 system-on-chip (SoC), including an Artix7 field-programmable gated array (FPGA). The camera also incorporates the Zinq-7030's Cortex-A9 dual-core 667 MHz processor to process the data, perform the controls required by the application, and send the results either to the machine or to the user line. Designed for operation at 300 frames/s at full resolution, frame rates can be increased to thousands of frames per second by reducing the region of interest (ROI).
