Trioptics to showcase virtual-reality optics measurement station at LASER World of PHOTONICS 2017

June 14, 2017
The ImageMaster VR optics measurement station was specifically developed for measurement and qualification of virtual reality (VR) optics.

The ImageMaster VR optics measurement station was specifically developed for measurement and qualification of virtual-reality (VR) optics. The device measures modulation transfer function (MTF), effective focal length (EFL), distortion, and the veiling glare index, which is a crucial figure of merit of modern VR lenses. It uses a high-contrast, programmable display as a light source and object generator. The chromatic dependence of all parameters is determined by using the display's individual color channels.
