Fred Thomas

Fred Thomas is a Distinguished Technologist at HP. He is the hardware and electro-optical architect for Captis. Earlier in his career, he contributed several innovations to the fields of compute, EO, and data storage such as subwavelength optical data storage, Iomega Clik!, and Zip Drives, MV for retail key blank ID, Floptical Drive & Laser Servo-Writer, HP EO digital pen technologies, and HP MediaSmart Home Servers. He holds more than 100 U.S. patents.
