Standard and customized high reflectance alumina-based ceramic cavities in laser reflectors provide 97–99% reflectance over the range of 570 to 2000 nm. Three glazes protect the ceramic and can be colored to restrict wavelength range. Standard components are up to 250 mm long with diameters up to 80 mm.
