Toptica boosts presence in Japan by opening a sales office

Given the strategic importance of Japan, Toptica Photonics is opening a dedicate office for sales, marketing, and service.

Given its strategic importance in the high technology sector, Toptica Photonics (Munich, Germany) is opening a dedicate office for sales, marketing, and service in Japan. The office is located in Fuchu/Tokyo and begins operations in September 2016. Taro Saito, managing director of Toptica KK, says, “Our team has already worked with Toptica products for almost ten years. We are looking forward to even closer cooperation with our Japanese customers in the near future.”

Thomas Renner, executive VP sales and marketing of Toptica Photonics, adds: “Japan has always had strategic importance for us because of the density of high tech industries and academic research centers. We purchase many of our strategic components in Japan and also have close contacts with Japan's world-leading scientific and technology experts.”

Toptica Photonics is a manufacturer of single frequency diode lasers and ultrafast fiber lasers. Its key markets include quantum technologies, biophotonics and microscopy, industrial metrology, and terahertz technologies. The company has more than 200 employees.
