NanoPhotonica partners with Lockheed Martin on QLED applications

They are partnering with major display and chemical companies to maximize the commercial impact of their technology.

NanoPhotonica (Lake Mary, FL) has won a contract with giant Lockheed Martin to demonstrate the application of its Quantum Dot Light Emitting Diode (QLED) nanomaterials and device technology to new application and configurations. NanoPhotonica co-founder and CEO Chris Morton said, "We are pleased that Lockheed Martin has recognized the benefits of our QLED offerings, and look forward to working closely with them. It is exciting to work with an industry leader to enable both commercial and aerospace applications from a single technical platform."

NanoPhotonica says it is widely recognized as the industry leader in QLED and related opto-electrical material development. The company has received several industry awards, and is partnering with a number of major display and chemical companies worldwide to maximize the commercial impact of their technology.
