An Edinburgh biotechnology startup has made it to the London-based final of an entrepreneurial competition. Edinburgh Molecular Imaging is hoping for success at Pitch@Palace; a London-based competition which promises the winner contact with CEOs and industry experts to forward their business ideas.

Edinburgh Molecular Imaging, a startup working to market its in vivooptical molecular imaging agents that can shorten diagnosis times for cancer, inflammatory diseases, and fibrosis to within days, was a finalist in the Pitch@Palace startup competition in London, England. The company had beaten 40 other entrepreneurs in having been selected.
The winner of the Pitch@Palace award (given on March 7, 2016) was JustMilk, which developed a drug delivery system for infants in low- and middle-income developing countries.
