Grasshopper3 GS3-U3-91S6 USB 3.0 cameras from Point Grey (Richmond, BC, Camera) output 3376 × 2704 images at 9 frames/s. A 1 in. Sony ICX814 CCD sensor offers 3.69 µm2 pixels and the company's EXview HAD CCD II technology to increase sensitivity into the near-infrared, as well as quantum efficiency of 73.4% at 525 nm, a well depth of 13,000 e-, low read noise of 9 e-, and long-exposure support up to 30 s. Applications include pathology, cytometry, cellometry, and full-spectrum fluorescence imaging.
