The EasyLife FP fluorescence polarimeter from Optical Building Blocks (OBB; Birmingham, NJ) has uses as a research tool and as a quality control/assurance instrument for various fluorescence polarization assays. The T-format fluorescence polarimeter offers monochromatic excitation and detection channels, temperature control, and a magnetic stirrer. It supports homogenous fluorescence and fluorescence polarization immunoassays (competitive and non-competitive), as well as studies and evaluations of slow-reaction kinetics (mycotoxins, hormones, peptides, haptens, and proteins).
