Advanced flow cytometry systems from Cytek Biosciences (Fremont, CA) have been purchased by scientists in over 20 countries across five continents, leading the company to expand operations in order to keep up with demand. To this end, the company has opened new offices in Tokyo, Japan, and Amsterdam, Netherlands to better engage with and support customers.

Cytek's flow cytometry systems have uses in clinical research fields such as immunology and immunotherapy. Notably, its five-laser flow cytometer makes 40 colors possible.
