488nm laser with beam-pointing stability from Klastech
Klastech's (Dortmund, Germany) Blue Note 488 nm laser promises 20mW in a near perfect Gaussian beam with unsurpassed beam pointing stability thanks to multi-point thermal management. Its DENICAFC Double Enhanced Laser Technology also enables the laser to produce a "pitch perfect" single longitudinal frequency with a coherence length in excess of 100m. The laser targets applications with extremely demanding noise requirements. It is capable of output power modulation while maintaining the original diode laser current.

KLASTECH Releases the New Blue Note 488nm Laser into Series Production
KLASTECH Karpushko Laser Technologies GmbH, has released its new 488nm laser into series production.
The new laser, christened the Blue Note is based on the same revolutionary DENICAFC Double Enhanced Laser Technology as the previously released 532nm systems. The 488nm laser produces 20mW in a near perfect Gaussian beam with unsurpassed beam pointing stability thanks to the multi-point thermal management present in all KLASTECH lasers. The DENICAFC Double Enhanced Laser Technology also enables the laser to produce a Pitch Perfect single longitudinal frequency with a coherence length in excess of 100m allowing the laser to be utilised by a staggering diversity of applications including those with extremely demanding noise requirements. In addition the laser is inherently designed to be capable of output power modulation whilst still maintaining the original diode laser current thus protecting the laser life and securing stable thermal operating parameters.
Applications include bio-fluorescence, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, holography, interferometry, disc mastering, haematology, food sorting, spectroscopy and retinal imaging.
DENICAFC Double Enhanced Laser Technology
Adopted universally across the KLASTECH laser range; DENICAFC Double Enhanced Laser Technology realises up to ten times greater 2nd harmonic conversion efficiency, especially when dealing with low input powers, as compared with other design architectures. Additionally it provides for locked single frequency operation giving a truly Pitch Perfect output with no so called green noise, mode hops and zero fundamental wavelength glow. Inherently much more stable over temperature thanks to the proprietary patented intra-cavity frequency conversion technique and multi-point thermal management, the technology allows for unsurpassed beam pointing stability and reduced power consumption. Naturally producing single longitudinal mode laser light, of coherence length in excess of 100m, the technology broadens significantly the range of applications that cannot be met by diode based laser technologies and/or by conventional DPSS lasers.
