30-die, infrared LED array suits skin therapy applications
The OD-850-30-030 30-die near-infrared (NIR) LED array from Opto Diode (Newbury Park, CA) delivers a narrow beam angle of 30° for night vision systems and skin therapy applications. The device has a peak wavelength of 850 nm (min. 840 nm and max. 865 nm) and a total optical power output of 16 W. Thermal parameters for storage range from -40° to 125°C, with an operating temperature range from -20° to 100°C. Maximum junction temperature is 125°C with a thermal resistance, junction to case, of 0.8°C per watt.
