Kinetic River selects Alluxa optical filters for use in NCI flow cytometer installation

Alluxa was chosen by Kinetic River to provide optical filters for installation in the Potomac flow cytometer at the National Cancer Institute.

Optical filters and coatings maker Alluxa (Santa Rosa, CA) was chosen by Kinetic River (Mountain View, CA) to provide its Ultra Series optical filters for installation in Kinetic River's Potomac modular flow cytometer at the National Cancer Institute (NCI; Bethesda, MD).

The Flow Cytometry Core Facility of the Experimental Transplantation and Immunology Branch (ETIB) of NCI, led by Bill Telford, will house the Potomac platform, according to Giacomo Vacca, president of Kinetic River. Alluxa's Ultra Series optical filters meet the spectral separation requirements in the system, Vacca adds.
