OCT validation phantom by Arden Photonics

July 29, 2013
The ALS - OP01 optical coherence tomography (OCT) validation phantom from Arden Photonics enables OCT users to qualitatively and quantitatively characterize their instrumentation performance.

The ALS - OP01 optical coherence tomography (OCT) validation phantom from Arden Photonics (Solihull, England) enables OCT users to qualitatively and quantitatively characterize their instrumentation performance. The phantom contains four geometrical patterns inscribed within a small silica substrate to form localized refractive index changes and give a comprehensive assessment, including spatially varying resolution, sensitivity, distortion, and scan linearity.
