Providence, RI -- A new line of laser-grade ZnSe discs, output couplers, and mirrors for Nd:Yag lasers has been introduced by Laser Research Optics.

Providence, RI -- A new line of laser-grade ZnSe discs, output couplers, and mirrors for Nd:YAG lasers has been introduced by Laser Research Optics. These components include plano-convex and plane-parallel discs, output couplers and mirrors optimized for 1064 nm and 10.6 µm. Available in 1/2” and 3/4” O.D. sizes, they can be supplied with dual-band and reflectance coatings up to 95% on each side, as required. This line may be used for dermatological procedures including tattoo removal.

FOR MEDICAL Nd:Yag LASERS

A new line of laser-grade ZnSe discs, output couplers, and mirrors for Nd:Yag lasers used for dermatological procedures including tattoo removal is being introduced by Laser Research Optics of Providence, Rhode Island.

Laser Research ZnSe Optics for Nd:Yag medical lasers include plano-convex and plane-parallel discs, output couplers and mirrors optimized for 1064 nm and 10.6 µm. Available in 1/2” and 3/4” O.D. sizes, they can be supplied with dual-band and reflectance coatings up to 95% on each side, as required.

Suitable for Nd:Yag laser OEMs, Laser Research ZnSe Optics for medical lasers feature 40-20 scratch-dig surface finishes per MIL-O-13830 (20-10 one face on plane-parallel) and 1/40 wave flatness and surface accuracy at 10.6 µm, with 3 arc-minutes maximum parallelism.
