The RS8500 midwave-infrared (MWIR) thermal camera combines a MWIR detector and telescope in a single weatherproof housing built for measurement accuracy of long-range and high-temperature targets in harsh environments. It operates at up to 180 fps with a 1201200 mm continuous-metric zoom lens. It can also image through neutral-density filters.
