InGaAs avalanche photodiodes provide bandwidth over 2 GHz

Jan. 31, 2022
C30733 avalanche photodiodes provide quantum efficiency of 75% at 1300–1550 nm, and responsivity of 9.4 A/W at 1550 nm.

C30733 avalanche photodiodes provide quantum efficiency of 75% at 1300–1550 nm, responsivity of 9.4 A/W at 1550 nm, bandwidth over 2 GHz, and low noise in the 10001700 nm spectral range. Designed for high-end test equipment, they are housed in a hermetic TO-18 package and offer a small-area InGaAs 30 µm diameter.
