A detector can be used to measure the energy from pulsed mid-IR sources. The RjP-495 Germanium Energy Probe measures the energy in each pulse and can handle pulse rates from single-shot to 200 Hz, energies from picojoules to microjoules, and wavelengths from 800 to 1800 nm. The probe can be used with the Rm-3700 and Rm-6600 Universal Radiometers to measure Nd:YAG, Nd:YLF, and eyesafe lasers along with common fiberoptic wavelengths.
