Accu-Sort and Eastman Chemical ink worldwide licensing agreement

A worldwide licensing agreement between Accu-Sort Systems (Telford, PA) and Eastman Chemical (Kingsport, TN) calls for Accu-Sort to manufacture and market laser-based, fixed-position scanners for use with Eastman`s NIRF inks based on near-infrared fluorophor markers for printing invisible barcodes. The agreement, which stems from more than three years of collaboration between the companies, grants Accu-Sort worldwide rights to manufacture and market fixed-position charge-coupled devices to detect and decode Eastman`s NIRF invisible markers. The agreement also calls for Accu-Sort to provide integrated systems, which may include detectors, scanners, printers, and NIRF inks.
