Three small tungsten-filament lamps are available that have been optimized for near-IR and mid-IR output. Applications include use as sources in gas sensors for carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons, and hydrosulfates. Model 4115 measures 2.3 mm in diameter and operates on 115 mA at 5 V. Models 1150 and 1088 measure 3 mm in diameter and are designed to run on 115 and 140 mA, respectively, at 5 V. All the lamps have envelope walls 0.1 mm thick and lifetimes rated from 18 to 40 kh.
