Photomultiplier module

April 1, 1996
A series of low-light detectors combine a photomultiplier tube and microcontroller to provide increased sensitivity, accuracy, and flexibility in a detector module. The HC135-01 covers from the UV to 650 nm, and the HC135 detects photons from 650 to 850 nm. Both PMT modules are precalibrated, have 21-mm-diameter active areas, and can handle u¥to 30 million counts/s. A manual and Basic language programs for IBM PC-compatible computers are included with the PMT modules.
