Dalsa and Semiconductor Insights sign joint collaboration agreement

Dalsa Corp. (Waterloo, Ontario, Canada) and Semiconductor Insights Inc. (Kanata, Ontario, Canada) have signed a joint collaboration agreement to develo¥CMOS image-sensor technology. The agreement spans a period of three years and calls for the companies to cooperate broadly and share the results of the research and development efforts. Each organization will market resulting products independently, with Semiconductor Insights concentrating on integrated CMOS sensor devices and Dalsa marketing both sensors and electronic cameras using the technology.
